It has an extremely distinct bitter taste that slowly develops in the mouth, thus deterring anyone from continuing the habit of sucking thumb or biting nails.
It is a product made in Switzerland. It takes a few days to a month to fully stop the habit. But it is the best remedy as far as I know.
