It is very nice to see an Indian name breaking records in flying and Vijaypath Singhania, chairman of Raymonds in India has been the pioneer.
Apart from quenching the thirst to achieve excellence in flying, I wonder if Mr.Singhania has done anything else apart from clothing the intellectually and monetarily rich. The rich elite are not doing enough to develop India and make it into a global power via infrastructure/educational development grants.
Somebody care to update on the magnanimous gestures of Mr.Singhania?
Why in the world do we only see Mr.Bill Gates making big donations to charitable causes? Where have all the Indian rich gone when it comes to improving the lives of the downtrodden and increasing the standard of living of the third world.
Vijaypath Singhania, the 'Raymond' Man will resonate stronger if he makes news in the generosity sector also....
Congratulations, Mr.Singhania on the flying feat.

Shah Rukh Khan Turns 40
Well the king has turned Forty. I do think in majority of his movies, he has overacted beyond tolerance. "Kal Ho Na Ho" was the limit. Given this, I still remember a lot of his movies where he has acted brilliantly. The following is just a few : Baazigar, DDLJ, Main Hoon Naa, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Swadesh.....
Some of the facts about Shah Rukh are unique in comparison to other actors:
a) No godfather. Shone only thru brilliance and hard work.
b) Father was a freedom fighter.
c) Has sleepless nights worrying about his children - Aryan and Suhana.
The thing that I like about Shah Rukh is that he has stuck with Gauri when other couples in bollywood are on the 'Divorce Path'. (Aamir, Saif etc)
